On sale from tomorrow, the 11th January 2010 are two box sets of the Doctor Who 2008/9/10 Specials.The first set, The Winter and Autumn Specials, consists of The Waters of Mars and The End of Time - Parts One & Two is released tomorrow, the 11th January 2010, at the recommended retail price of £24.99. Episodes Doctor Who Confidential are included as extras for this DVD release. The cover can be seen above.
The second box set, The Complete Specials, consists of the 2008 Christmas Special, The Next Doctor, the 2009 Easter Special, Planet of the Dead, the 2009 autumn Special, The Waters of Mars and David Tennant's final episodes as the Doctor, The End of Time - Parts One & Two.Each episode is accompanied with an episode of Doctor Who Confidential, which takes a look behind-the-scenes.
The extras for the End of Time, Part One include: David Tennant's Video Diary, BBC One Christmas idents and an audio commentary with David Tennant, Euros Lyn and Catherine Tate.
The extras for The End of Time, Part Two include: deleted scenes with an introduction from Russell T Davies, a look at the the Doctor Who panel at the 2009 Comic-Con convention and a audio commentary with David Tennant, Euros Lyn and John Simm.
This box set is released at the recommended retail price of £39.99 tomorrow, the 11th January 2010.
