Amy Pond - Kissogram (Probably Not)?

The Sun (very reliable news source) are reporting that Karen Gillan's character in Doctor Who Series 5, Amy Pond, is in fact not a Policewoman but a Kissogram! They also claim that the new head writer and executive producer Steven Moffat wants to give the series an 'edge'. This has been revealed by an unnamed 'source' to TV Biz.

Of course, most of us are intelligent enough to realise that this is a load of old rubbish! Firstly, this episode is apparently set in 1995 which explains why Amy Pond is wearing a uniform which looks slightly out-of-date. It is also illegal to wear a real Police uniform if you are not a real police officer. Karen Gillan also recently said in an interview that she requested a short skirt.

The Sun have a history of very lame and lazy news reports so I wouldn't take this too seriously. Is Amy Pond really a kissogram? Time will tell...

  1. The uniform isn't out of date, it's current. Police didn't wear those type of 'flak' jackets in 1995. And my immediate recation, upon seeing this picture, was to think she was some kind of kissogram.

In any event, police women never wore skirts like that!

hate to say it, but I think The Sun is right on his. But, even if they are, I can't see a problem with it. :)

  2. A kissogram? In Doctor Who? I'm not complaining but The Sun are never very reliable!

    Thanks for the comment! :)
