David Tennant's appearance on The Sarah Jane Adventures yesterday boosted the ratings for the show with 1.3 million viewers and 10.9% of the audience share according to unofficial overnight figures. This is the highest rating it has achieved in the earlier time slot. It is currently unknown how many people watched the simulcast HD version on the BBC HD Channel.Final figures, which will include those who recorded the programme and watched it later will be released in two weeks.
