Part 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures - The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith starring David Tennant as the Doctor performed very well again in the ratings yesterday with 1.1 million viewers and 9.6% of the audience share.

David Tennant made a brief appearance on BBC Radio 5 Live earlier today; from the press screening of The Waters of Mars.
David Tennant's appearance on The Sarah Jane Adventures yesterday boosted the ratings for the show with 1.3 million viewers and 10.9% of the audience share according to unofficial overnight figures. This is the highest rating it has achieved in the earlier time slot. It is currently unknown how many people watched the simulcast HD version on the BBC HD Channel.

Elisabeth Sladen (Sarah Jane Smith) and Russell T Davies (Executive Producer) will make an appearance on tomorrow's edition of BBC Breakfast, sometime after 8.30am on BBC One.Mars, 2059. Bowie Base One. Last recorded message: "Don't drink the water. Don't even touch it. Not one drop."
Starring David Tennant as The Doctor and guest starring acclaimed British stage and screen actress Lindsay Duncan, The Waters Of Mars is the second Doctor Who special to be screened this year.
Lindsay plays Adelaide – the Doctor's cleverest and most strong-minded companion. She and the Doctor face terror on the Red Planet in one of the scariest adventures yet.
Neighbours, Flying Doctors and Casualty star Peter O'Brien also guest stars as Ed, Adelaide's second-in-command at the base.
The Waters Of Mars is written by Russell T Davies and Phil Ford and is directed by Graeme Harper.
It now looks like The Waters of Mars will be transmitted on the 14th November, BBC One. Wikipedia claims that David Tennant will appear on the Graham Norton show the Monday before, 9th Nov, presumably to promote The Waters of Mars. The BBC's entertainment journalist and Doctor Who fan Lizo Mzimba, claims on Twitter that there will be a screening for the special sometime over the next week where he will be interviewing David Tennant, Russell T Davies and Lindsay Duncan. Children in Need will take place on Friday 20th November where a preview of the Doctor Who Christmas Special will be shown.
It is expected that the BBC Press Office will have further details of the special and confirm the air date sometime on Thursday.

Part 1 of The Sarah Jane Adventures - The Mad Woman in the Attic which was broadcast on Thursday at 4.35 on BBC One had an unofficial overnight rating of 0.6 million with a 5.7% of the audience share. This rating is similar to the one it achieved the previous week with the series opener Prisoner of the Judoon - Part 1.
Happy Halloween from Doctor Who Adventures!Alien Eve's powers grow out of control, with everyone caught in her sinister and endless games.
